Harcourt Specialist Centre sets a new benchmark of excellence in the medical and allied health services in the Hawthorn East and Kew precinct. The centre accommodates a range of specialist surgeons and allied health professionals from varying backgrounds and expertise. As a newly opened practice, Harcourt Specialist Centre currently offers specialised Orthopaedic surgical care, including foot and ankle surgery, shoulder and upper limb surgery, hip and knee replacement surgery, and sports and trauma reconstructive surgery, as well as providing podiatry services through Footlab+.

Our practitioners at Harcourt Specialist Centre are highly qualified and experienced, delivering a comprehensive range of skills and knowledge for referred patients. Our Orthopaedic Surgeons operate privately at Epworth Eastern, Epworth Freemasons, Northpark Private Hospital, Knox Private Hospital, Holmesglen Private Hospital, Glenferrie Private Hospital and The Avenue Hospital. They also have public appointments, including at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital and the Northern Hospital, and are involved with regular peer review, teaching and research, allowing them to apply modern and evidence-based practice to patient care. We are available for urgent enquiries and will endeavour to see all new patients promptly.

Harcourt Specialist Centre is located within the Harcourt Estate precinct of Hawthorn East opposite to Sackville Ward in Kew. It is a boutique specialist practice situated in a newly renovated Californian bungalow, with purpose-built consulting and treatment rooms, and a dedicated reception and patient waiting area. There is wheelchair access for patients, contemporary staff amenities and ample nearby on-street parking. With a mixture of heritage craftsman style architecture and modern design features, our consulting centre retains much of the charm of the surrounding Harcourt Estate, balanced with the contemporary needs of a fully accessible and compliant medical treatment space.
